The outstanding Leningrad‑Saint Petersburg artist Alexander Traugot donated six drawings to the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic, chosen from those exhibited at the show Alexander Traugot. The Time of Shostakovich. Graphics, which was held in the foyer of the Philharmonic’s Grand Hall from August 8 to November 5, 2025.
The exhibition, which opened on the eve of the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Dmitri Shostakovich, was dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the concert organization being named after the composer. The artist gave the Philharmonic the opportunity to select specific works for permanent preservation in its collection.
